“Crews officially opened all ten new lanes on Avery Parkway at the I-5 interchange. We thank the residents and businesses for their patience during construction. A few finishing touches remain for Avery Parkway, including final striping, and signal timing signal synchronization. Work at Avery is 85% complete with construction anticipated to be completed in early 2025.”
I-5 CROWN VALLEY WIDENING

Widening of the Interstate 5 Freeway from the 73 to Crown Valley Over crossing. Multiple Stages of Excavation/Export/Shoring/Grading/Drainage and Concrete/Asphalt Paving Operations with several types of Retaining Walls. Avery Bridge Construction consists of replacing existing structure in 3 stages while maintaining traffic both on the I-5 Freeway and City Streets. This is a milestone project for Ortiz Enterprise, Inc. with it being the largest contract value in company history and allows us the opportunity to showcase our abilities with scheduling and executing a project of this magnitude with our team.

DUNE PALM SPRINGS
OWNER: CITY OF LA QUINTA CONTRACT VALUE: $21 M
Replace the existing low water crossing spanning the Coachella Valley Storm Water Channel (CVSC) at Dune Palms Road with a bridge crossing. The proposed work includes the roadway approach reconstruction to meet the proposed bridge structure elevation; street widening; construction of curb, curb/gutter, sidewalk, trail, retaining walls, median paving, driveway approaches, concrete slope protection, and 6-foot tall garden wall; asphalt pavement with aggregate base; bridge construction; crack sealing and slurry sealing of roadway within construction limits
